August 30 Ms. Seohee Ahn visited our research group to discuss a future collaboration on the observation onboard R/V Shirase.
She is a graduate student (D1) of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)/Korean Polar Research Institute (KOPRI).
One of the undergraduate students in our search group also made a presentation on the observation with R/V Shirase.

June 27 The Impact Factor of JMSJ for the year 2017 was 5.023.

February 21 Dr. Robert Stone of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) visited our laboratory to discuss the recent issues on the atmospheric radiaiton at the polar regions.
The two graduate students in my laboratory made their representations on cloud and radiation at the polar regions.
