Brief biography
Makoto KUJI has received Ph. D. (Geophysics) in 1999 at Tohoku University in Japan. His research background is atmospheric radiative transfer theory and its remote sensing application.
He has some experiences in the retrieval algorithm development of cloud properties for ADEOS-II / GLI data using NOAA / AVHRR and airborne radiative measurement data.
Recently, he is interested in the satellite remote sensing studies in terms of cloud, water vapor and aerosol as well as observation of atmospheric radiation.
